I'm fed up with remote desktop; it may be my own incompetence but it seems like no matter what I do I keep running into issues that need to be tweaked with and fixed every time. Are there any good remote access programs out there that "just work", particularly when behind firewalls? Any advice is greatly appreciated

With this type of software, can you put files from one computer to another?
Thanks

Thanks everyone. I've looked into a bunch of things that you suggested and so far i'm really liking logmein.
Fox 3 were you asking me or someone else?
In order to transfer files with Logmein, you have to pay $70 a year for the premium service. The free service does not have a file manager. The workaround is installing a FTP server on one computer and use FTP client software on the other. This will require opening and forwarding ports on the computer with the server if it's behind a router.
