I have been having problems with this card for some time now. Belkin FSD7000uk

When I close the computer down I am presented with the BSOD saying BAD_POOL_CALLER, the computer then restarts and says it has recovered from a serious error.

From what I understand this is a driver issue, and it started happening when I installed the card so it must be related.

I have even gone as far as reinstalling Windows and putting all the most recent drivers on etc but am still suffering with this problem.

Could it be simply that the hardware is not compatible with my mainboard? I have tried everything to resolve this problem.

If its possible that its simply not going to play nice inside my computer then I will probably get it changed for a Netgear card.

Please help,
Tom

What brand is your wireless access point/router?

Well, you should get the best results with a Belkin adapter then - but if yours has a driver issue, you may have to use an alternate.

I'm guessing this message is a rather unusual one that people can't seem to diagnose. I work in ITC and nobody in work can seem to come up with a solution or even a suggestion of what might be causing it. I have also spoken to the guys in the local custom building shop and they also appear to be baffeled as to what might be causing it.

Still looking for more information if anyone has any suggestions.

Cheers, Tom
