Hi,
I was wondering if anyone might know if there is a way to retrieve the CD/Product Key for "The Sims 2" on my computer. We lost the cd case which has the key on the back of it. Is there a way to get it from somewhere on my computer? Any help would be appreciated. My son is going nuts!! Thanks.

If you want no cost, and the game is installed, you could search your registry for the lost cd key, however, i don't know how, and i don't advise it.
I also found this, if you still want to do it legal : http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg/php/enduser/cci/ea/replace_code.php

Thank you both for your help, I absolutely don't mind paying for one if necessary.

Keep in mind the cost of a whole new game.....sometimes it might be cheaper/easier to just buy a new copy. That is, if you end up needing to re-install.
