Hi guys, can you recommend an after-market CPU cooling solution? I do not mind voiding the warranty for noise reduction and/or better performance due to cooling. Can anyone also recommend a good case that has a window?

Please see this post in the thread above yours.

For fans, what is your noise tolerance? Would prefer to get a little extra headroom with a little faster fan and attach it to a fan controller when not needed. Or do you prefer to go with a naturally quiet fan?
Whats the budget for the case?

I want a quiet system. I'd like cooling to be adequete. The idea of having it thermostatically controlled sounds good but, on the system I have now, that does get loud while gaming with 1 fan.
EDIT: was looking at Freezer 7 Pro.

Freezer 7 pro is great bang for the buck. It comes with some preapplied (very nicely too) MX-1 thermal compound. No need to change it out for arctic silver 5 as the mx-1 is very good. Maybe 1c diff between the two compounds at max. (arctic silver being the better)
And the freezer 7 comes with a pwm fan on it. So you can just download speedfan and control it through there. Even at stock the fan is very quiet :).
