office 95

I am in the process of putting 95 onto an old toshiba laptop. It has no cdrom so i need floppys to install progreammes. I have a copy of office 95 but no2 disc has a corrupt cab file which will not allow install to run. What can i do? get a copy of word and excel and install it but how in floppy. Is there a place i can get the cab file from to maybe install it to the faulty disc. I have relised that i have posted this to the wrong forum. can you still help.

If you have Win95 up and running on the laptop and have a desktop computer that has Win95/98/ME on it, you can go get a parallel "laplink" cable and use Direct Cable Connection to copy anything you need from the desktop's CD drive to the laptop's hard drive.
