i have a watercooling setup with a 2x 120mm radiator, 400GPM hydor pump, and a thermaltake block. the block is a native 1/4 with adapter to make it 1/2; the radioator has 92mm fans on it. my current temps are 39-40 idle, 45-47 load.
i was thinking if i get 50 CFM and above 120 fans and an inpingent high-quality block how much boost (pun intended) would i get.
PS: in the near future i wanna add a mid-range vid card which would choke the setup i have now.

1. What exact radiator?
2. What (if) resevoir are you currently running?
3. Is that all you have in your waterloop? If anything else please mention.
Well I would suggest a nice block..but your pump wont be able to handle it. See impingent like blocks perform at top conditions when paired with a proper pump. If not, in your case, it would yield to worse temperatures.
What I suggest?
Get yourself a decent low end waterblock dont wont crack on you.
OR
Save that money and yield it on a whole new loop. Because yours isnt going to be getting anywhere.

i dont understand, but my pump has enough speed to handle an impingent block. or not?
BTW, its a dangerden radiator black ice pro. dont have a waterblock, just a t line

To explain it simply: the hydor has PLENTY of Flowrate. But what you gotta keep in mind is the maximum flow through your waterloop will top out at 1.5-3g/m. What makes a difference when you put a pump into a closed loop is the headrate. Head is the force behind pushing water throughout obstacles in the loop.
And your hydor has a very low headrate. Just enough for a non-impingent system.
Not to mention dumps alot of heat and is uneccesarily noisy. I highly suggest you find a way to get rid of the pump, i.e ebay.
Otherwise your radiator is fine. And the t-line is great.
EDIT: Since you used the adapter on the block, I assume your radiator is 1/2'?

yes the radiator is a 1/2-er. your right, the pump is aural flagellation. im lucky if i get 40 bucks out of it.
