Ok, I just built a machine with C2D that is working brilliantly, so far :)
This is the case I built in:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811117022
It's a great case, but it came with no fans. The ambient case temperature runs about 26°c, and the bios says the CPU temp is 51 or 52°. I've been told that these temps aren't abnormal, but just the same I'd like to add an 80mm fan to that side fan port.
Should this be an intake or exhaust fan?

No fans? Put a fan in the rear as an exhaust first.

And if it has a spot...put an intake at the front. this will also help cool your hard drive(s)

It doesn't have a fan port in the front, but there are 2 rear ports.
I think that those are 120mm ports though, so the 80mm that I ordered should point out of the case?

I think that those are 120mm ports thoughThey look like 80mm fan ports to me. 120mm fan ports are pretty big.so the 80mm that I ordered should point out of the case?If you mount it on the back of the case then the fan should blow out of the case. If you decide to mount it on the door/side, it should blow into the case. I would mount it on the back of the case to help remove heat.

Those are 80mm fans, if you look in the picture the fans do NOT reach half way across the case, and your case is 200.66mm wide.

Well now that I'm at work and looking at them, all 3 of them are 80's...
So I'll get one more 80mm, since the one that's coming has cool led's and stuff
One in the side (intake), one in the back (exhaust)...
Thanks for the help!!

Its good to have an intake and exhaust fans. I would put two on the back and one on the side to get a good air flow through the system.
