What does these temp readings mean?

I got these temp readings from my BIOS:
Processor Temp: 45 c
Internal Temp: 25 c
Remote Temp: 32 c

This is my recent build, here are the system specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 CPU
Intel 946GZ Micro ATX MOBO
Sparkle ATX-400PA 400W PSU
Patriot DDR2-667 PSD251266781 (2 x 512MB) RAM
Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 160GB SATA 3Gb/s HDD
ASUS CRW-5232A4 CD-RW
Eagle Tech PSR5601 ATX Mid Tower
1 x 80mm side case fan
M$ WinXP Home

So what are the internal/remote/processor temps? (What exactly, are each of these measuring?). Are these temps in a reasonable range? I'll be adding another rear case fan when it arrives. There are 2 rear ports, should I put 2 fans in?

Processor temp is the temperature of the processor core. The sensor is usually on the motherboard, underneath the CPU. 45C is a good temperature.

The Internal temp comes from a sensor on the motherboard to give you a sense of how warm the interior of your case is. 25C is good.

I'm not sure about the remote temp. But 32C is still well within spec for anything.

I wouldn't worry at all about those temps. You don't need any additional fans.

That's good to hear. I thought my temps were fine, cuz the system is extremely stable.

I probably shouldn't say this out loud, but this was my first build, and I haven't had a single problem with it! :)

Possibly beating a dead horse here, but that was ALL due to the help from this forum...

What it means is (based on those readings) that you are good to go. I used nearly an identical setup with my 6300 build. Load in Sensors View and watch the CPU Core Voltage. I had a problem with mine and a resulting failure. Intel authorized a replacement and my RMA'd stuff should be here Friday. You probably have the 9-11-06 updated version of that board if you just bought it. According to Intel, that one's OK. My 946GZ was one of the July editions - which was basically first run. I'm very impressed with how that little setup works/worked and can't wait to get mine back together. Hang in there!

this is a good setup--FOR AN OFFICE machine. The board is pretty featureless, but the price reflects that. Being all Intel, it set itself up, so it was so easy to put together.
Couldn't do any gaming with it, but it's great for what I use it for. Me happy.
