My new MoserBaer CDRW which is written only 3-4 times is now not readable by windows..it was working fine but when i burned it this times nero gives error message of session error...but i again burned it n nero says ur it is not multisession...i didn't read the whole line..it also says...disc might not be readable by windows explorer..do u want to continue..in a hurry i wrongly press yes..now windows is not recoginising it as a RW disc..i tried formatting it by DOS but it says volume type is RAW...use /FS switch to use FAT type..i didn't get it..plzz help

Try another disc.
You cannot format a RW in DOS, you have to use InCD if you want to format it. If you just want to burn it, erase it first using InCD.

InCD is not detecting it ..PC hangs up on inserting the disc..it was not happening previously..help

THE disc may be going bad. If you have access to another pc with a burner, try erasing it there (i.e. doing a full erase with nero or any other burning app). That works for me sometimes for things like these. They disc may eventually go bad again though
What Rios and Chuck said. You need to determine if it's a problem with the disc or a problem with the computer. Bad discs are common, they only cost 50 cents.
