After playing F.E.A.R around a friends house the other day and using his gaming mouse instead of the standard ball mouse I found it a lot easier to interact with the game, does anyone know of any good gaming mousse that would be worth taking a look at and possibly buying,
Thanks

Do you remember the old Microsoft IntelliMouse...one of the earlier optical ones?
They are re-releasing them as a gaming mouse, with a few minor adjustments! It's basic design but for gaming it's just what the doctor ordered.
If you are using the mouse primarily for gaming then it would be best to stick with a wired mouse because with wireless mice you may suffer some lag time.

At the risk of asking the obvious, how about buying the same one your friend has?
The top gaming mouse out right now is probably the Logitech G5. $50 shipped. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16826104191

Woops, didn't see you're in the UK.
Do you have a budget you're working with? The G5 is a solid choice if you can afford it.
