Hi My comp. isn't able to open pdf files. I get a message that says plug in not configured...or something like that. Is there a setting I should know about?? Thanks

Download Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/alternate.html) and see if that does the trick.

Okay, what version of Acrobat do you have, and what browser are you using? I'll see what I can find for you.

Look in the Start menu, it'll tell you what version it is; if it's not obvious, launch it. One option to try is download 5.0; uninstall the one you have now, reboot, then install the one you downloaded.

If you have installed a new browser since you installed Acrobat Reader, it may not have registered correctly. Reinstall Acrobat Reader.

Since you have the newest version of Acrobat, did you uninstall the old version prior to updating? In the past Acrobat would require the older version to be removed before upgrading to a newer version. Un-Install/Re-install Acrobat.
