Hello all,
I hope that I'm in the right forum for this thread. Question: Can anyone tell me how to keep mutilpe sign on accounts with pc anywhere. It seems that the PC anywhere 10. profession has change the log on to the adminstrator which is me. No other sign on account is shown. Thanks in advance for any help.

do you mean multiple sign in accounts for a specific host? or are you trying to run multiple hosts at the same time?

I may not be explaining it right. I have XP home and have myself and 2 other family members who have their own sign in acct. When I installed PC anywhere I chose professional install and it eliminated the 2 other sign acct and left me with my sign acct. Any way to reverse that except restore or is there other choice that will allow all 3 acct to work. Thanks Jim

when you say sign in accounts are you talking about Host accounts that you create that run in the background and wait for a remote user to connect? or are you talking about setting up multiple callers for a host? by callers i mean you open the properties of a host you can setup multiple callers under the callers tab?

if you want to add more callers to a host, just right click the host, and go to properties, there should be a caller tab where you can add more users. im doing this off of memory, i have pc anywhere 11, and i know 10 is a little different but overall the programs do/accomplish the same thing.

What is happen is that when you boot up to WinXp home there is a choice of who you want to open up. In my case there are 3, myself who is also the admin, my wife and my daughter. As it stands now after loading pc anywhere the computer boots up to a log in with password with my name is displayed and a password. This reminds me of 2000 log in screen. It doesn't have any log in window for all 3 of us any more. So my question is, how do I reset the log in so that I get all 3 of us listed as choices in the log in window. Thanks Jim

start>control panel>user accounts>make sure the welcome screen and fast user switching are checked.

if they are already checked, then uncheck them restart your pc, log back in and recheck them then reboot one more time and see if that fixes the problem

post back with your results

Well, I went into the accounts and a small window came up it said: a recently installed progream has disabled the welcome screem and Fast user Switching. To restore these features, you must uninstall the program. The following file name might help you identify the program that made the change; C:|WINDOWS|system32\awgina.dll Then it had a ok button.
If you hit it gives you the window for these settings but the are whited out. Got any ideas how to keep the program and the acct running. Thank Jim

this is what symantecs website says pcAnywhere 10.0 is not compatible with Windows XP; pcAnywhere 10.5 and greater is compatible with Windows XP.
