I know we will never see an end to this problem but every little bit helps.

Thats awesome, yeah its only a drop in the bucket but every drop counts when it comes to paedophiles. Good job rjf (though how'd you stumble across that in PR?)

I like the proactive approach better of setting up adult decoys posing as minors to catch predators. The Wales system is more reactive, or after the fact.
If the predators know there are adults out there waiting to catch them, then they might think twice about doing it in the first place.

Good point David M, I saw a demonstration of a scheme on TV whereby the cops were setting up sites advertising illegal material and once the browser had clicked through a few pages requesting to see it, recorded their IP. Not sure if this was put into practice though.

Yeah, i cant find the article anymore but out on the east coast, up in new england somewhere there was a guy that got duped by another adult posing as a kid. It was just some joe trying to get the word out i guess, because no charges were filed. Kinda crazy, guy fakes being kid to molest other guy who fakes being kid to catch guy...
Hopefully their will be some changes being made to make it a bit safer, but it seems that for every safe change there are 5 new ways perverts and the such can do what they do, and do most of it LEGALLY.

I am a "Brit abroad" (ex pat), I am a Welshman living in Puerto Rico and that is my local paper from back home, I always read the local news to keep up with the rugby results.

Any help to get this sick-people off the streets and to where the belong helps. I think Wales is taking the initiative here, and hopeful other countries may at least ponder following suit.
