MB:Asus CUSL2-C
Ram: Crucial 512K
HD: Maxtor 7200Rpm 30gig
Video: Asus GeForce 2 GTS
Processor: Intel PIII 1gig

Problem:

When doing a normal shutdown of the computer everything works perfect. Whenever I attempt do a "Restart" such as when I'm installing new software or just bored :) it will ALWAYS lock-up on the "Windows 98 Shutting down screen".

What I have done: I have downloaded all MS updates to include the 2 second delay for faster processors...I have called Asus...big mistake!! they blame it on Windows. I have looked at every setting I'm aware of...obviously I'm missing something but I have no clue what it is so now I'm relying on your assitance...

Thanks in advance,

Kevin
