Hi all it's been awhile :) quick question, i just bought the asus a8n sli premium. the board uses a cooling pipe for the chipset. i have never used a board with a cooling pipe. are they any good when it comes to overclocking or should i buy a chipset fan and replace the stock cooling pipe? thanx i think i put this thread in the wrong section my bad :(

I've found that if you have sufficient airflow throughout the case, heatpipe coolers work pretty well - and they don't make any noise. I can't vouch for that particular board though; I've never used it.
