Here is a tool that you can place in the windows/system32 folder (You'll have to locate the system32 folder if not using XP. This tool is kindof like MSCONFIG. You might try and compare/contrast this with MSCONFIG. Rename the startup.txt to startup.cpl and place it in the system32 directory.

Just check this out... MSCONFIG has a few different things on it. Just compare it to MSCONFIG. I think that it is a little neater looking interface. Aside from that, this adds a control panel item so you don't have to either add a shortcut or type MSCONFIG.

Again, I have to recommend using msconfig than a 3rd party utility. Why gunk up the registry and your computer with programs that do exactly what native Windows applications do. It does the partly the same as msconfig except it has even less functionality than msconfig.
