Ohh that is one heck of a monitor. My uncles got it in his workshop and i can tell you its GREAT! I'm jealous of him cause i should have got that for the price i paid mine :(
Great contrast but make sure your not going to be using it in a totally lit room. If so i would go higher brightness but i think your fine.

Currently, unless something has changed within the last few weeks, all 22" LCD's use the same panel. So pretty much all the monitors you see HERE (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductCompare.asp?Category=19&N=2000190020+1309822582&Submit=ENE&Nty=1&Subcategory=20&CompareItemList=N82E16824009094%2CN82E16824252006%2CN82E16824014131%2CN82E16824001083%2CN82E16824116 060%2CN82E16824112005) are pretty equal when it comes to picture quality. Even though that Sceptre says it has a 1200:1 contrast ratio it's actually about a 800:1. I have heard some good things about that display but I would also seriously consider the BenQ, which is the same price I believe and without having to worry about rebates.
