A few more questions

I have another question. I'm still looking for just the right parts before I order them and start building. Ok here it is. I looked at an ATI Radeon x1950 for only $270. Now I'm not too computer savy when it comes to the best of the best graphics cards, but is this a good buy? or should I go with an nVidia 7600 GT or a higher card? My son is trying to run neverwinter nights 2 and his computer just wont cut it. Another question as well. Depending on which card is the better buy, which motherboards are compatable? And should I go with intel core 2 duo or with an amd? Thanks in advance!

Any motherboard that has a PCI-E x16 slot will be compatible - which is mostly all of them nowadays. Yes, the X1950 will run laps around the 7600gt - it is a very powerful card, but in budget concerns I honestly don't think that game needs it at all - even the 7600gt will play all or most games at high settings - including the one your son plays. If you want something in between, pick up a 7900gs or x1950pro. I'd definately go with a Core 2 Duo now. I'm using just an e6300 and love its speed and power.
