Hi,

After installing AVG Free Anti Virus and having it work, I found that after clicking the desktop icon hours later nothing would happen. There was nothing on the Add/Remove Programs List for it so I deleted the program folder and desktop icon. I rebooted my computer, and tried to run the installation wizard again and receive this:

Local machine: installation failed
Installation:
Error: Action failed for file avg7rsw.sys: starting service....
The system cannot find the file specified. (2)
Rollback:
Error: Action failed for file avgupsvc.exe: removing file....
Access is denied. (5) %PATH% = "C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Free\avgupsvc.exe"

So here I am with no protection except AdAware and common sense. :D I am downloading Avast! software now.

Avira AntiVir (http://www.free-av.com/) is another free antivirus solution. I've been using it on one of my computers for the past two month and haven't had any problems with it. In some reviews it's rated a little higher than AVG and Avast!...I imagine it's rated a little lower in other reviews as well. I'm thinking of installing it on new computers I put together for other people.

I'll be in the market for an AV proggie soon, Cricket. Where can I access those reviews?
