Recommended AntiVirus - Free

Well, I uninstalled Norton as recommended here, and I seem to be having problems with AVG Free AntiVirus - have no clue what happened, it just stopped working. See here: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=170787

Could you please recommend a free application to use for Antivirus that won't be annoying and try to control everything? Thanks! :cool:

I'm going to close this one since you have an AV thread going. Do a forum search and you'll find that AVG and Avast are the top choices.
