So that totals $816, which is a little more than I wished to spend but i have to admit its a screamin machine. So is there anything else i need? Anymore fans? Does everything look alright? I had a hard time with the graphics card... I know you guys said the 7600GT would be fine but this seemed like a really good deal considering... plus I want the machine to run future games well.

Everything looks fine, good luck. Have you looked at the Sapphire x1950pro? Also, Xclio is very decent, but Fortron Source makes good units too for good prices, if they have a 450w power supply in stock at Newegg from FSP I'd get that.

If you're not going to use your old computer any more, then you could re-use that case. And on the difference between the two, I'm not too sure there are many. Both PSU makers have parts inside made by Channel Well, so they're essentially the same. I would go with the Xclio, I have that in my computer right now. Plus it has more combined amps on the +12v rail. And it has a rubber coating so it can't be shocked and stuff. OEM doesn't come with accessories or a nice box, just a brown box with the part itself.

No, the FSP and the Xclio are made by two totally different companies.

The FSP is made essentially by FSP themselves. The Xclio BL is made by CWT, or Channel Well.

In terms of quality I would put both into the same placement. As the FSP is very dated and uses some of the same quality components as the Xclio. But the fsp might just last longer due to its better quality control and design over CWT/Xclio.

All in all with an X1950pro I would want someting a little better. These are the ones I would suggest:

Oh, well in that case, yea. Each of those are only a little over the recommended +12v rails for that card anyways. Those two that you said would power it much better. Where were you when I asked how my Xclio would handle my X1950Pro. Oh well, haha.

A little off topic, but how's the weather down there Mr. Ferrari, I live in Tulsa and all the snow you're getting is heading this way...I think.

LOL. Either the xclio or the fsp will "just" power it. Personally I'd prefer something of better quality when pairing up with these beefy ati cards.

And yeah, yesterday I was just about ready to jump into the pool. But damn..wake up today morning and theres ice on the roads. :(

Ok... my wife has told me she wishes to have a laptop so the kids can play on it wherever they want to. So i concede because i know if shes not happy, then the family isnt happy. My question: where should i look for a good gaming laptop that will play the high intensity graphics games, like NWN2, that is reasonably priced?

Well, laptops don't get high end graphics cards. I would look into something from Dell that had something more than integrated graphics - not Intel graphics accelerator, but maybe something like integrated x1300 graphics. Also go with 1gb of RAM if you can.

Not true, I've seen some with SLI on them.

On most high end laptops you will see modular GFX components. That you can switch out.

Keep in mind they arent cheap. Look at www.dell.com and www.newegg.com and www.powernotebooks.com

Yeah, you won't be able to do much gaming with a laptop. Just in case you change your mind, the FSP AX-450 is a good power supply choice, b/c it has 36A on the 12V rails but the Xclio only has 32A. From a quick google, the X1950Pro's are suppossed to have at least 450 Watts w/ 30A on 12V rail(s). Personally, I would think that the Xclio would be cutting it too close, but the FSP would be just enough extra for me to buy it.

Internal parts of both are actually equal. Xclio has a newer design whereas the FSP has a very dated one. But the FSP would probally last longer.

However I would personally not suggest either. At a minimum I would take a Sunbeam Nuuo 450W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817709002), or something decent in the 500W range.

The x1950pro's new PCB design is acting iffy with power consumption.
