All videos extremelly dark on new build

Got my new pc running but any videos I have running on it are very dark and hardly viewable. This only happens with videos. All pictures on line look fine, flash is fine, it's only videos... from trailers to music videos to myspace tv shows. Any ideas?

Is it just web based videos or does the problem apply to video files stored on your computer as well?

I didn't have any videos on my pc yet as it was a new build...

I did end up reloading the driver and it seems to be ok now although the quality isn't as good it seems as my older ATI radeon 9800 pro.
