my computer makes a noise that sounds like a tiny motor coming through the speakers, but it only does it when certain windows/programs are open. It's not real bad/loud,but still. Sometimes I think that the different colors even on a website will do it. but mainly it will do it when playing a video file. there have also been times when it would make almost the same noise when moving my mouse over certain areas of a website. and it doesnt matter what program I use for a browser or video/media player
I have a GeForce 7800GS video card, samsung 17" lcd monitor, onboard sound on a ASUS A7N8X-E mb, the mouse is a wireless microsoft intellimouse explorer, and I also have a linksys wireless router going real close by. aside from the speaker cable I do have wires and cables going to my computer to almost a dozen other things. anything you can think of that you can think of that can be plugged into a computer theres a good chance I have it plugged into mine. :p
lets remember that these are not just games, but simulations, thus driving needs a wheel, flying needs a flightstick, keyboard for first person, gamepad for most sports... LOL;)
anyway, is it interference, driver.
