Hey guys,
you all were such a big help when i built my 1st pc a month ago that i cant see myself asking anywhere else for help. :)
wondering I have GIGABYTE GA-965P-S3 mobo
I'm using 2x512 of Patriot memory -
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820220070
it works fine and I'm not a oc'er. The board just requires 1.8 v.
Anyways my question is this, can I use my above memory and add another gig of this A-Data
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820211012
I have mixed and matched other companies before on my old desktops but just didn't know if you lose any power from the sticks or anything if you mix and match on newer mobos.
The Adata is compatible with my mobo just wondering if it's ok to mix and match?
It's like $20 cheaper with shipping instead of buying more patriot.
thanks in advance.
