Good day!
i'm having problems with my pc. i cannot downloading anything.
i have a windows XP professional ed, a 128 MB RAM and 40 gB hard drive and a 1.33 gHz processor.
is the problem on my storage or my RAM or my internet connection?
it displays the error message:

"Internet Explorer cannot Download .... from ....com."
"Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again."

please help!

start>run>cmd>ipconfig /flushdns

also run ccleaner to remove any temp files
http://www.ccleaner.com/

after that try downloading something from microsoft.com or downloads.com and see if your problem is fixed.

is your pc connected directly to a dsl or cable modem or are you behind a router?

XP requires at least 256mb of ram just for itself, the moment you start up any applications you need more ram, I wouldn't be at all surprised if half your problem is not a lack of ram.

Minimum ram for XP is 64mb. That's not to say it will run well though.

Try an alternate browser such as Firefox or Opera - does it do the same thing?
