McAffee Privacy Service

Hi

Need help on Outlook Express as when I send mail an error message appears,

" Mcaffee privacy service 9.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused"

My pc will then hang and I am not able to log into the Net and has to re-boot.
After re-booting I am able to log into the Net but not my mail as same thing will happen again.

I am using XP Home edition with 1g RAM.

Please help.

What comes to mind is to check your firewall settings to make sure Mcafee is letting the program talk to the net...click on the task bar icon, firewall/options I think it is. Then it's somewhere in there. But - I haven't used Mcafee in a while and I am no expert.

Also, I have not had that issue, so I'm not sure why privacy service would be talking about a firewall issue...maybe make sure you as a user have full rights thru privacy service?
