hope sum1 can help.
ive just recently upgraded my pc. after doing this i have updated all my software. after updating IE6 to IE7 and updating Spybot S&D, something has been trying to change my registry altho Spybot keeps warning me, its becoming a bit of a pain.
i have done many many checks for malware spyware viruses and trojans etc but have cleaned everything out and there is no trace of anything on my HDD. i have done online checks and found nothing.
obviously there is something embedded deeply within my system but i cant find or stop this happening.
Spybot is warning that :- it has detected an important registry entry that has been changed.
category: Browser page
Change : Value changed
entry : Search bar
Old data : http://qvwcibhwdformmjoa.com/geRkN505........
New data : http://www.synjudexfzxddi.com/geRkN505........

then asking me for allowance or denial.
obviously i am denying the change but it pops up less than a minute later with exactly the same warning. altho the new data changes each time

anyone help with this???

Looks like you have some spyware messing around with your registry. Try running Ad-Aware.

glc, i know the links will be invalid as i cant read any more of the line due to the box displayed not finishing them.
newbuilder, i have done many checks with a good few programs but none have picked up any spyware/malware etc etc.
i thought it was a problem within IE but still cant find it

Neither one of those URL's look good - you have some malware in there.

Try the online scan at www.ewido.net.
