Wireless is the way to go if the PC's are in different rooms and you don't want to run an ehternet cable on the floor.

It would certainly be worth it, and Linksys is good equipment. Maybe the best.

Not to be rude but, i know what the advantages are to go wireless. I guess my question was would these equipment be good and cheap enough? Especially the Router because the rooms where my computer i want to connect to each other are very close. its about 50 ft max.

Also my other question is if i want to go wireless do both my computer need a wireless PCI card?

That pci card is fine but don't use a usb router. Buy the WRT54GL instead. It's a little more money but well worth the investment for trouble free operation. Only one pc needs the wireless. The other will connect via ethernet cable directly to the router. You just need to make sure it has an ethernet port (nic) onboard or pci.
