I'm looking for a GOOD 3-5 player game for LAN gaming. Most of the time it is just the 3 of us. We have been playing CS, 1 terrorist, 2 CT, and that is pretty fun. UT is pretty fun too. I was looking at DF3:Land Warrior, anyone know if it is any good multiplayer? Doesn't have to be a FPS, just good multiplayer action. We already have:
UT, CS, NFS:Porsche Unleashed and HS, Starcraft, Warcraft2 (still my favorite, lol), DF1 & 2, Rune: Halls of Valhalla.
We tried Crimson Skies, but that game SUCKS royally! We took it back same day we bought it. Any good multiplayer flight-sims?
BTW, where's a good place to d/l new CS levels? And is there a way to lay prone in CS, ala Delta Force?

You left out Age of Empires (any version of it rocks!!!) It's awesome for 3 players. Try it out!

OOPS, it's been a while since we played that one, so I left it off the list. We have all the versions of it too, and you're right, it is cool too.

Any of the Command and Conquer series games are pretty fun too. I just looked at my C&C Red Alert 2 box and it supported from up to 8 players over LAN.
If you're strategically minded Rogue Spear isn't bad either.
I dunno if it supports more than two players per, but Sacrifice 1v1 is very cool, played it for the first time online the other day.

Try Serious Sam- it has a cooperative mode thats fun and a change of pace from typical deathmatch type FPS's. You team up with your buddies to kill all the baddies. SS has large open arenas where 50 or more monsters may appear at once. A good game to practice circle strafing.
BTW- nice avatar-- I have a key chain with same Klingon logo
Doom2 3 player co-op mmmmmm..... thats the way to go on hurt me plenty tooled up to the eyeballs and playing level 16 - If you want to deathmatch then your levels are these 2-player level 1 - absolute kill fest 3 or more level 8 excellent level for deathmatch

The only flight game I've ever enjoyed is Jane's WWII Fighters. I love that game, and nothing makes you want to punch the guy sitting next to you more than having him shoot of your wing sending you into a dive. Its funny to eject and then get hit by a plane... probably shouldn't talk about running planes into things huh :(
