How do you delete those previous entries (auto-fill) from the explorer address bar? Deleting the history file doesn't seem to work.
Can anyone suggest a good program that cleans up everything (history, cookies, tem files, auto complete, etc.)?

Highlight, hit DEL key.
To clean up everything, get TweakUI, look on the "Paranoia" tab.

If you want to clean them all out go to the menu in ie5 and select tools-->internet options. Then click on the content tab. At the bottom is a button called "Auto complete"
click on it. in there you will find an option to delete all saved auto complete info as well as options for auto-complete as well

Hmmmm, Never saw that happen before.

In IE5: Tools, Internet options, General, clear History.
Also Tools, Internet options, Content, Autocomplete. Turn it off.
Also Tools, Internet options, Advanced, Use Inline Autocomplete, untick them.

Didn't work.
Everytime I type in a website that I've been to before, a menu box comes from the address bar with a list of completed urls that I've visited before.
Eg.
I type www.zdne (http://www.zdne)
And it still gives me:
www.zdnet.com (http://www.zdnet.com) www.zdnet.com/zdtv/interact (http://www.zdnet.com/zdtv/interact)
etc.
How do I get rid of that??
