Static IP

Is static ip easier for people to hack than an ip that changes everytime you connect. My internet provider wants to charge me $14 for static ip and I don't know if it's worth it.

If you are running reputable security software (firewall, etc) it makes no difference whether your IP is static or changing. Worrying about someone "hacking" a static IP is kinda paranoid.
