Hi all.
I have a problem with my sound card. The sound gets corrupted and then it stops after some time while an audio or video file is still seen playing on my PC. This has been my problem since 8 months. I managed to work with it all these days some how. But now I can't still wait. So I thought of changing the sound card i.e., using an external sound card by removing the inbuilt internal one. So which sound card would suit me.
Here are my system specs:
CPU:AMD Sempron(tm) 2400+ (Clock Speed 1665.5 MHz)
Motherboard manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
Motherboard model 7VM400M-RZ, 1.x (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/Driver_Model.aspx?ProductID=1764)
DRAM Size 512 MBytes
Motherboard Chipset VIA VT8378 UniChrome KM400
Audio Adapter VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller (http://www.opendrivers.com/driver/211176/VIA-AC97-Audio-codec-Combo-Sound.html)
OS: WINXP SP2
