Hi,
I've just change my motherboard. I do not know if I have to reinstall the OS.
I tried reinstalling the OS but I found out that my CD-ROM drive is not working.
What will happen if I did not reinstall the OS?
Will it boot into Windows? If so, then you don't have to reinstall the OS.

Try fixing the cd issue and install the chipset drivers that came with the mobo.

I guess installing the chipset is all i have to do?
What about the intel chipset i installed previously with the previous motherboard?
Will it be removed or ..?

Install ALL the drivers on the motherboard CD. That way you are assured of having the correct drivers for your hardware. Then go to Windows Update and make sure your OS is fully updated. You should be offered any hardware/driver updates too if you choose the Custom search mode.
