Slave Hard Drive / OS questions??

I am currently in the process of building my new computer, and had a question about using two hard drives. I plan on using my new hard drive as the primary drive, and moving my current hard drive to the slave drive. My question is, is it possible to leave Windows XP on my (current) slave drive, and install a fresh Windows XP on my (new) primary drive without any conflicts? Thank you.

Just leave the old hard drive disconnected while you install WinXP to the new hard drive. Once Windows is installed you can then turn off the computer, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet and then connect the second hard drive to the system. The computer will boot to the WinXP installation on the new HDD and the older HDD will just be viewed as a secondary storage drive.
