Hey guys need some advice

my puter is kicking me out of games and rebooting (not at same time) occasional i get IExporer errors too

when it reboots this is my error message:
c:WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini012707-02.dmp
C:Domcume~1\KRISTY~1\LOCALS~1\Temp|WER4.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

when it kicks me out of games it comes up with a appcompat.txt error

which i also worked out that it is a Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

after hrs of research i havent a clue on how to fix and what i seeing is the same for every one else with comments from as to driver conflicts, windows update conflicts, graphic card issues, cpu issues and over heating

Ive done a number of reformats, reinstalled games and updated drivers, registry checks and temp monitoring (i found that ATI 4600xt was main cause of reboots which was every couple minutes) that has now been changed now reboots a less frequently

i do suspect tempature problem or CPU voltage any one know the best way to check it out with out spending big $$$$ untill i find the cause of this headache

Full system specs, please - including brand and model of the power supply. What are your temperatures and voltages?

Thanks for the quick reply

i should mention error messages first happened after dust was removed from my other puter could not keep the puter on was constently rebooting (basically similar to the one im using now which was given to me

its a pentium 4 - 2.4ghz with 1gig ram (kingston)
Nvidea geforce4 ti 4600 128MB (APG)
mobo gigabyte GA-8SG667
SIS 648 + SIS 963 AGPset socket 478 DDR
power supply is an eagle model no DR-A350ATX 350W
winXP no service pack atm

(i know the graphics card is old but the puter doesnt crash as much as the ati 9600xt 128MB which i had 2 of them both did the same thing)

Temperatures and voltages, please? I'm a bit suspicious of the quality of that power supply - I just saw one go on Ebay for 5 Aussie dollars, and a Ti4600 is a pretty hungry card.

You need SP2 and a bunch of critical updates, by the way.
