View Full Version : Keyboard problem
I just installed Windows Vista Ultimate. Most everything was great. But I have a wierd keyboard problem. Some keys donèt do what they are supposed to do. For example when i hit the forward slash-Question mark key i get this é . a bunch of other keys do other different things.
Any suggestionsÉÉ that was supposed to be a question mark
I don't know how Vista handles it, but in 2K you open control panel, keyboard, then look at the input locale.
Yes, I found it too. You go Control Panel>Clock Language and region> then select "Change keyboard and other input methods"
Did that take care of it?
Sorry yes it did!! I made a wrong selection when I installed. I selected a part french keyboard instead of the english Canada selection.
Just for your info.
The installation was good with the one exception that my LAN drivers were not found and the ones I had were not compatible with vista. I had downloaded driver previously that stated they were for Vista 32 bit versions. oh well. i installed a new card and away we went.
Also, I may have missed a screen, but there was no option to format my drive on install. It saved all my files to window.old. Like I say this could be my fault........
