Backup and Vista Question.

Does anyone know if the integrated Backup utility in XP can work in Vista?

Say I backup some files using this Backup utility in XP, will it run in Vista if i bring it into the OS?

No they are not accessible natively. However Microsoft has released a Vista tool that will let you restore XP backups: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=7da725e2-8b69-4c65-afa3-2a53107d54a7&DisplayLang=en

The Vista built in Restore->help file links to a Windows NT - Restore Utility that will allow restoring from XP and Server 2003.
