H5
My Acer laptop came with win vista home premium preinstalled, when installed AutoCAD 2007 and ACDSee Pro, the software cannot run? vista pop up something about compatibility issue!!! is there any way to run this program? i check with autodesk website but nothing mention about it
please anyone?
If you right click the icon and go to properties, and then to compatibility (i dont have vista so im not sure if its a tab like win XP). Set the program to run in XP compatibility mode and see if it works.

You need to click on the executable in Explorer, not just the shortcut. Then you have the compatibility option.

I got AutoCAD 2007 to work by right clicking shortcut, going to properties, setting to XP Compatibility Mode, and also on the last tab to the right (i think) check the box "run as administrator". It will ask for approval and after clicking yes and run anyway it should work, though I haven't fully tested how well it will work. I hear that if you are using it for 3d you will be dissapointed.
