My computer has been working fine up until now where every time i try to play a game online, i have a ping of over 400. My normal ping is around 40 and i cant realize whats wrong, its been like this for 3 days now. I have powered off my comp, the DSL router, and even re installed the Ethernet Drivers for my Mobo. Is there any other way i can tell whats leaching my connection?
Thanks for any help.

Does this happen in every game server?
Can you go to Start -> Run -> "cmd" and type tracert <insertserveriphere> and see what the timings are (minus the < >)?
If the timings are just as high, I'd recommend restarting your computer in Safe Mode and then repeating step 2 to ensure it is not a program or spyware/virus lagging you.

Yes this happens on every server for every game i have tried. Battlefield 2 , Battlefield 2142, Counterstrike Source and even World of Warcraft.... Im not sure how do get those timings, i couldn't really get anything useful to come up in the command prompt
Oh scratch that i got this thing it says 1 <1 ms <1ms <1ms
You have to tracert to a specific address - like one of the game servers.

-------------
Our system is as follows
DSL of which i don't know
--------------2 Computers Running off LAN lines
--------------One Wireless Router running off of a LAN line into it
I unplug all of the lines except my personal computer and i receive low pings with my tracert. ????? Whats up with that
What hardware do you have - a DSL combo modem/router? Brand and model, please, and is it ISP-provided?
You are having a major issue between your router and your ISP. It's not an issue with your computer because you have NO lag between you and the router. It's a bum modem/router, a bad phone line, a bad DSLAM, or a bad ISP local router. I would not hesitate to contact your ISP for assistance.
