Mother board, CPU and Hyper-Threading

Ok....
So I am attempting to build my first comp...
and the mother board spec said Supported CPU Technologies: Hyper-Threading Technology
but the CPU said that it is not supportive of Hyper-Threading.
Now my question, is this a problem?

the motherboard is an ABIT IL9 Pro
CPU Socket Type LGA 775
CPU Type Core 2 Duo / Pentium D / Pentium 4 / Celeron D
FSB 1333/1066MHz

The CPu is an Intel Celeron D 352 Cedar Mill
FSB 533MHz

Hyper Threading is a technology that allows a single core CPU to do more than one thing at a time. It mimics two cores. Earlier single core processors had to perform tasks in line. First you, then you, then you. More or less. This caused slowdowns and standstills many times. HT eliminated a lot of that. Most current platforms support Dual Core Technology. With Dual Cores, you don't need HT because you alteady have a CPU that can do more than one task at once.
I'm not so sure the IL9 Pro is going to support the CPU you have listed. Could we know more about the system you intend to build. We may be able to provide suitable alternatives.
