There are also plenty of AP, Rueters, and indy photos at Yahoo (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?g=events/ts/091101nydccrash&a=&tmpl=gal&e=1)

Yeah, I've heard of Photoshop 6 -- I own it. I've also heard of and used Jasc's Paint Shop Pro, Deneba's Canvas, Macromedia's Freehand and MetaCreations/Corel Painter. I prefer Photoshop.
What the Livin' #e(( does this have to do with on-line photos of the events of 9.11????
What a moron.

Before you call others names you should think about things. If you have all this software who cares! I have it too. The picture was altered with photoshop!
Are you mature enough to consider this, I lost 20 friends at the WTC 6 of who were N.Y. City police officers and firemen. O.K. Grow the F--k up!

Python, that's a little rough for this place, and does cross the line.

No problemo. Is this the pic everyone's talking about?
http://9news.com/newsroom/13294.html
I find it hard to believe someone would take time to "doctor" a photo, at this time. If, in fact it's real, it sends shivers.
SARGE, yes but no.
That is the link but the CNN photo that was there is now missing.
There were two pictures at that link - but now only one.
The one that looked like Satan from CNN is gone but the one from AP that looks like he has the correct length beard remains.
This may be the conspiracy you have been expecting. ;)

Again, my sincere apologies. I have to state for the record the photo is doctored, I wouldnt have even brought it up but it is so obvious and I have researched this, believe me.

For what it's worth, I read your comment (quoted above) before any further response was posted and took it only to mean, <b>"It looks like someone did a job with a paint program"</b> Along with the funny faces you used, it was obvious your post wasn't meant to deride anyone. I think someone else jumped a little soon and also owes an apology.

My apologies as well -- by the time I got to the link at Drudge Report, the photo was gone.
But as a video producer and graphics guy, I'd say it's not doctored for three reasons. One, I called a friend at AP (for a totally unrelated thing) but asked him what he knew of the picture. He told me it had been uploaded to the AP database within 20 minutes of the second tower being hit. That's a tough senerio for doctoring -- take the picture, up it to your computer, edit, and then go through the crap to get on the AP database (takes at least three minutes to verify user name, authenticate and all that BS). Two, the photographer in question is highly reputable and would in no way want to harm his standing with AP and/or Reuters (he freelances for both). Not to mention he wouldn't want to hurt his own business of selling high quality pictures of the NYC skyline. Three, this same image was captured by another photographer from the base of the building and it was also captured on video (by ABC who won't release any more footage of the buildings for other reasons).

Craig, the photo I saw was a color photo that was different then the original. The beard was longer and "satan" held a staff. That one was obviously doctored. I agree, the time element made it extremely unlikely. Anyway as far as i am concerend this is a non-issue. Have a good one!

Aside from comic book artists, who knows what Satan looks like? I say it's
Bill Clinton.
