I have a Dell Inspiron 1150 that the screen just went blank but the computer sounds like it is still running. any thoughts?

You could try reseating the RAM.I had trouble with a Dell Inspiron 5160 showing anything on either display.Maybe you accidentally hit the CRT/LCD button on the keyboard?The backlight burned out?I hope one of these helps!Thank You very much!
