I have begun oc'ing my Athlon64 3700 (San Diego) I am currently at 240 x 11 on a 2:3 multiplier. I havent went any higher yet but am considering it. My question is am I going to see an improvement by lowering the frequency and upping the fsb? I may still have some room on the fsb without lowering frequency as it has been rock solid so far.

Since overclocking is different on EACH system, the only way to find out how far you can go is by testing yourself. If you find someone with an IDENTICAL setup as yours that can go 250x11 or whatever, it does not mean that you will be able to to the same.

Overclocking is strictly a trial and error thing. You just have to be sure that your temps are within reasonable spec and all should be fine.

Good Luck!
