Ok, So I have the 680i running 8800 GTXs in SLI. Mind you vista 32 Bit Ultimate doesn't support SLI.
WHenever I use the Vista Command to Shut Down, Windows goes through the shutdown sequence, then My screen loses signal, But the MoBo never fully powers down. My CPU Fand, Vid cards and all Drives are still getting power, All case fans are on and I have no idea how to fix it.
If I choose the Vista Sleep function I get dropped to a black screen and a LOUD Screeching noise is emitted from somewhere in the case but I have no clue where.
I was told to Update to the P25 Bios, and clear the Cmos, neither of those solutions fixed anything. Then I was told it was the SLI and was told to disable it, Well I did that and It shut down once correctly. However since that first time I still get the problem.
Any Ideas?
