I would really appreciate some case recommendations. Below is a list of the components I will be installing. The case will be sitting in a computer armoire so I would think that good cooling would be a concern. I can't fit a very large tower...would probably need a mid-tower. Price range would be between $50 to $100. Appearance wise...the only thing I would prefer would be black or silver/grey. Not looking for something flashy; just something that is quality built, easy to install parts and cools well.

Antec makes a good number of mid-sized towers with good cooling and decent looks.

Look at the Antec Sonata II. It even comes with a decent 450 watt PSU.

I read where there were mixed reviews on the Antec Sonata PSU, but I also read on here that Antec PSU are good.

What about this Cooler Master case? (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16811119068) It seems to have good reviews on newegg.com

Can you suggest any other specific cases?

Thanks in advance.

Probably should get some measurements of the space the case is going in to make sure the case you get will fit.

Very good case. Plenty of space. Good ventilation. Just used one. The only thing that I changed was replacing the 80mm front fan with a 120. The CM that is.

I agree on the Cooler Master case. Have seen several builds with that one and it's nice.

If you already have a nice power supply picked out (and you do) look at the antec solo. It's a subtle, beautiful case that has excellent cooling and is very quiet.

Depite what the shiny picture looks like, it's all black (including the top) except for the silver front panel.

Here's a picture of it in real life.

For great cooling I'd suggest the p180

Coolermaster, Aerocool, Chenming, and Lian Li are a few quality, cooling minded names..as well.

I really like the Akasa Eclipse 62 case (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-005-AK). It's got a front mounted PCI slot, mobo tray, loads and loads of room. A bit pricey over here in the UK but I plan to get one for my new build.

I highly doubt the P180 will fit in a hutch. That's a BIG case.

Oh yes, I likes 'em big alright! :D

Seriosuly though, I just love loads of room in a case, even the El Cheapo Alpine EZ Cool (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Cases/MIDI+Tower/+Alpine+EZ+Cool+Midi+Black+EC-7103H?productId=14899) I have at the moment is nice and roomy. Combine this with some additional ventilation paraphernalia and a lovely modular PSU and I can look forward to a superb roomy, cool and tidy case innard. Hoorah!
