vista programs not responding

idk why,but alot of the vista programs wont respond after being open for like 5 min anyone know why? and it takes like 10min to delete an empty folder:confused:

its a new comp w/ an AMD athlon 64 3800 w/ 2gb memory
im having troubles with my system files
