DSL and Reformatting

I currently have a DSL(verizon) connection. I steup this connection on my main PC which runs Windows XP. I connect through a Verizon supplied router. Now, I'm ready to reformat that XP machine because it's time. I like to reformat every once in a while. I've never done this while I've had the DSL connection.
Will there be issues after the reformat with Verizon?
I know the connection will still work because I've run other OS's live CD's from that machine and the internet works fine.
Should I have any concerns, concerning my DSL connection before the reformat?

No, the DSL connection is configured on the router; not on your PC. Also (just figured id tell you) you dont have to put in the verizon supplied CD again. And finally, if you ever reset your router, its very easy to manually configure your connection. All you need to know is your verizon account name and password and we can guide you through the process (ive done it plenty of times on my own router and other customers).

After reinstalling Windows just go to Internet Options in the Control Panel, click the Connections tab and then click SetUp, follow the setup wizard and set your connection up manually to a connection that is always on.
As FLG says you don't need the set up CD.

rj, ive never had to go through the wizard to set up my connection. Though if you do bosco, just follow his directions.

You only have to set up the connection in that manner if the modem is a bridge modem and you have to use PPPoE on the computer. With a properly set up modem/router, no configuration is needed - the default local area connection will work.
