Im pretty sure what i want is impossible but i have a program that runs on my windows computer but i need to get it to run on my linux computer. I extracted the files and burnt them to a cd and when ever i try to run the set-up in linux, it doesnt do anything. It says that the file is DOS/windows executable. is there anyway i can run this program, and i have to add, i can't get on the internet with my linux computer.

No, Linux is not Windows. You need Linux software, not Windows software.

You could use wine (and a lot of luck), it is a windows emulator, www.winehq.com
