Hello, I have windows xp pro installed on a system with 3 Hdds. Two 320gigs SATA raid 0 that have the os installed on and another 150gig SATA just there for storage. Today i remove the extra 150gigs hdd to put into a new system, but after I took out the extra drive, it wouldn't boot anymore. Got this message when I turn on computer " Boot disk failure, insert system disk and press enter", but that is weird since my OS is installed in the two raided drives which mean it doesn't have anything to do with that extra drive. I tried clear the bios but still not working. Any help would be appricated.

Does the computer boot up okay if you put the 150GB HDD back in?

I haven't try that yet because I already install a new OS on that 150gigs hdd that i put in the new computer already. If I put that back in, I scare it might mess up that too which make it double work to reformat or to fix it.
Welcome to the hazards of RAID 0.

so anyone have any idea how to fix this without having to reformat the whole thing? I planning to do that tonight if i couldn't find the fix. BTW, any know how to backup the data in this case when i can't get into windows?
