When I had XP I had it installed but it just isn't the same as Windows Vista

I tried this out on my work laptop (after a creating a restore point) just to see what would happen. I have to admit that its not a bad deal. Most of the Vista features without the issues I've experience on my gaming rig. I've had quite a few people look at my computer and they really can't tell the difference. Only the start button gives it away and apparently there is a way to even fix this. Kudos to the creator for a job well done.

If I install this is there a way to revert to normal XP GUI if I wish?

If you look at the developer's web site there is a pretty good forum that has answers to almost anything. But I think that the only way to revert to the normal XP GUI is to remove the VTP. I could be wrong though.

Just select a different appearance in control panel.

does it add the 3-d alt tab feature? from the pictures there it looks like it adds the thumbnail of opened windows when hovered over it with the mouse..

It will show a thumbnail of the window when you hover your mouse over the tast (in task bar) and provided you have the tooltips application installed (included in the pack). It is just basic but, if you really want the real thing than Vista is available.
